In the annual rating of influence of the Russian pharmaceutical market entities, conducted by the newspaper «Pharmatsevticheskiy vestnik» at year-end 2012 AKRIKHIN took the third position. AKRIKHIN is nominated in the category «Local Pharmaceutical Manufacturer».

The rating is one-of-a-kind for the pharmaceutical industry. It reflects not actual results of the business development (for example, the traditional comparison of the volume of sales or production), but the most important regularities in the information space of the local pharmaceutical industry. However, as the rating results demonstrate, the competition in the information space is closely enough related to the actual market situation/competition. This trend clearly shows distribution of top places in the category «Local Pharmaceutical Manufacturer». In the top three in 2012 are Pharmstandard, Stada and AKRIKHIN.

About the Rating

Decisiveness Rating of the Russian pharmaceutical market entities is held the fourteenth time. The project is carried out annually to identify the most influential companies and persons which have made the greatest contribution to the development of the Russian pharmaceutical market. Results of the study are based on a survey of professionals engaged in the pharmaceutical sector.

Rating calculation was carried out on the basis of 805 respondents' opinions of six expert groups: scientists, government officials, representatives of Russian and foreign manufacturers, representatives of distributors, directors/ managers of pharmacies. The first five expert groups in total constitute an absolute majority, but the largest proportion of respondents, as before, belongs to employees of pharmacies (almost 40% of total respondents). The listed audiences possess the specialized in the pharmaceutical market information and are characterized as expert ones. Geography of the study is 35 Russian regions in 8 federal districts.

The rating is published in the newspaper «Pharmatsevticheskiy vestnik», No. 10.
