On 11 November, TASS press office hosted a conference on implementation of quality innovations by pharmaceutical manufacturers of the Eurasian Economic Union and featuring the announcement of GxP-Profi 2022 international contest results. Pharmaceutical company Akrikhin ranked first among over 20 participants from Russia, EAEU, and other countries.
Akrikhin won the contest by presenting the major innovation project titled “Data Integrity: From Good to Great” as part of the company’s continuous efforts to improve its pharmaceutical quality system. The project facilitated comprehensive development of the data integrity system through application of digital innovative systems in compliance with the current international requirements in various areas and processes affecting quality, efficacy, and safety of drugs and demonstrated the cost-effectiveness of implementation thereof. The implementation of the project was innovative due to the use of the risk-oriented approach to Data Integrity assurance in compliance with the most recent international standards.
We believe a continuous improvement of Akrikhin’s pharmaceutical quality system in accordance with the current trends and international requirements to be a necessary condition. Besides, we deem it extremely valuable for the key players in the industry to exchange the breakthrough best practices in the implementation of quality innovations in order to incentivise and improve the pharmaceutical industry. GxP-Profi 2022 international industry contest has been held under the auspices of the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices and Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of Eurasian Economic Commission. The project promotes the growth of the pharmaceutical industry potential through development and implementation of innovations in the area of good practices. The expert panel comprising representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and EAEC, as well as leading industry experts announced the leading innovators in the area of quality, as well as the top promoters of the best innovative solutions industry-wide.
