On 24 September 2021, Akrikhin sponsored a ceremonial planting of conifers along the Kirova Street in Staraya Kupavna. The event was organised on the occasion of the company’s 85th anniversary.
The event was inaugurated with the welcome addresses by Konstantin Paramonov, Vice-President for Production at Akrikhin, and Irina Koltsova, Deputy Head of the Territorial Administration Unit Staraya Kupavna, Bogorodsky Urban District.
The list of guests included local residents – the veterans representing JSC “Akrikhin” Council of Veterans and current employees of Akrikhin’s production site. Everybody interested was invited to take part in the planting of trees. To contribute to the general idea of the need to take care of the environment and improve it, the participants planted 20 cedars. Upon completion of the official part, the participants had tea with a Russian samovar and treats. Every single guest received a little memorable gift – a kit to grow a plant at home.
This year, Akrikhin is celebrating its eighty-fifth anniversary. Since its very inception, the company’s mission is to contribute to the community in order to improve the living standards for people. This is manifested by the company’s commitment to manufacture modern high-quality pharmaceuticals that enjoy strong demand, do a socially responsibly business, support and promote charity projects, and contribute to improvements in the town of Staraya Kupavna.
Throughout all these years, Akrikhin has been part and parcel of Staraya Kupavna. Today, our enterprise employs the fourth generation of employees already, and most of them are local residents. I would like to say my words of appreciation to all veterans of our company whose experience and effort have laid the foundation for successful development of Akrikhin. We highly value this connection to our hometown, which is the reason why we implement a lot of projects to support Staraya Kupavna’s social programmes every year. Today, on the occasion of our company’s eighty-fifth anniversary, we are happy to open this new walkway lined with trees,
