Moscow, 30 October 2017 – A meeting of the Board of Directors of Enterprises and Organizations chaired by the Head of the Noginsk District was held on Friday at AKRIKHIN’s manufacturing facility. Senior executives from more than 40 major businesses in the district and AKRIKHIN’s top-managers discussed performance in 2017, current issues and plans for the future.

Members of the board showed a keen interest during a tour of AKRIKHIN’s main manufacturing facilities in Staraya Kupavna. The visitors paid particular attention to the Research & Development Center, microbiology lab and soft and solid dosage form production unit. They had the opportunity to see personally that medicines are produced at AKRIKHIN at the highest technical level and in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

AKRIKHIN President Denis Chetverikov presented the company and told the board about the company’s main development focuses for the near future:

The priority of our work is expanding company portfolio of medicines, both our own and those produced in partnership with foreign pharmaceutical companies. We are working to create new medicines so as to offer patients high quality and effective support.

The Board of Directors of Noginsk Municipal District Organizations, chaired by the Head of the Noginsk District, was relaunched after Igor Krasavin took that position in February 2017. The board’s aim is to ensure practical interaction between the local authorities and businesses in the Noginsk municipal district. The board handles the following main issues: proposals on developing and improving innovative activity, fostering a favorable business climate, eliminating administrative barriers to investment and entrepreneurship and improving the environmental situation in the district.
