On May 25 President of "Akrikhin" Denis Chetverikov announced the launch of a long-term project “Company Brand Generic”. The company will follow the expansion of the brand and will produce under its own brand name different product groups.
Umbrella branding strategy involves pooling and sale of several products under the brand "Akrikhin".
As explained President of the company Denis Chetverikov, eventually under the umbrella brand "Akrihin" will present a broad portfolio of products.
"Over the next few years we want to increase the number of products to be sold under the brand name "Akrihin" within this project from 40 to 120 items", - said Chetverikov, clarifying that the milestone of 50 titles the company plans to overcome in the next two years .
The company plans to use the intuitive navigation color in packaging of prescription and non-prescription drugs: some specific color will correspond to a particular anatomical-therapeutic group. The portfolio will include products from the list of Vital and Essential Vital and Essential drugs (VED) for the treatment of neurological, cardiac disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, musculoskeletal, pulmonology, dermatology, and antimicrobials.
Strategic project "Company Brand Generic” by “Akrikhin" should become a driver for the import substitution of socially significant products.
"Akrikhin" is a pharmaceutical company founded in 1936. Its main production facilities in Russia is in Staraya Kupavna near Moscow, on total area of 36 hectares. In 2014 "Akrikhin" produced 94 million packs of drugs.The total staff number is 1 500 people in 73 Russian cities.
