Contract and licensed manufacturing

• In-licensing (using the partner’s products and technologies in Russia and other CIS countries);

1988:

AKRIKHIN signed the agreement with KRKA to launch the first cooperation project on the manufacturing of finished pharmaceutical products.

1990:

AKRIKHIN is the first pharmaceutical enterprise in Russia to conclude a licensing agreement with BMS to produce the Capoten and Capozide cardiovascular products.

1992:

First fully GMP compliant manufacturing unit in Russia opened at the AKRIKHIN production site jointly with BMS. The more than 20-year partnership between AKRIKHIN and BMS is the longest licensed manufacturing project in the history of the Russian pharmaceutical industry.

1994:

AKRIKHIN signed the agreement with Servier to realize the diabetes program.

2012:

AKRIKHIN signed the agreement with MSD on the joint manufacturing of six products for the Russian market.

2016:

AKRIKHIN and MSD agreed to expand partnership on the localization of medicines manufacturing for treatment of socially significant diseases in Russia.
